Privacy Policy
HAL149 respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through hal149.com (the "Website"), why we collect it, who processes it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Data controller
- Company: HAL149
- Postal address: 1032 E Brandon Blvd #1333, Brandon, FL 33511, United States
- Email: info@hal149.com
For any question about this policy, or to exercise the rights described in section 9, write to info@hal149.com.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form: name, email address, company, and the content of your message.
- Newsletter: email address.
- AI assistant (chat): the content of the conversation you hold with the assistant and an anonymous session identifier, so the assistant can follow the thread of the conversation and we can follow up on your enquiry.
- Browsing data: aggregated, anonymised information about how the Website is used, collected through Google Analytics (see section 7 and our Cookie Policy).
We do not request special categories of personal data (health, beliefs, political opinions and similar), and we ask that you do not include them in your messages or in the AI assistant conversation.
3. Why we use it
- To answer enquiries, proposals and other messages sent through the Website's forms.
- To provide the AI assistant service and to follow up on the conversations held through it.
- To send the newsletter to those who expressly request it.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Website is used, in order to improve it.
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Legal basis
- Your consent — given when you complete and submit a form, subscribe to the newsletter, interact with the AI assistant, or accept analytics cookies. You may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
- Our legitimate interest — in responding to enquiries about our services, keeping the Website secure and operational, and analysing its use in aggregate in order to improve it.
5. Children
The Website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, write to info@hal149.com and we will delete it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected: while your enquiry is open and, where a business relationship follows, for as long as that relationship lasts plus any period required by law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. AI assistant conversations are kept so that we can follow up on the enquiry and improve the service. You may request deletion at any time (section 9).
7. Recipients and processors
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not disclose it to third parties except where required by law. The following providers process data on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions:
| Provider | Role |
|---|---|
| Google (Google Analytics) | Aggregated, anonymised analysis of Website traffic. |
| Anthropic | AI model that processes the messages exchanged with the Website's AI assistant. |
| Netlify | Website hosting and delivery of form submissions. |
| Supabase | Database and file storage for the Website and its admin panel. |
8. International transfers
HAL149 is established in the United States, and some of the providers listed above process data outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data of users in the EEA or the United Kingdom is transferred, it is done under the safeguards permitted by the GDPR — principally the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, an adequacy decision such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
9. Your rights
Wherever you are, you may write to info@hal149.com to request access to the personal data we hold about you, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of or objection to its processing, its portability in a structured, commonly used format, or the withdrawal of a consent you previously gave. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
10. Security
HAL149 applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against alteration, loss, and unauthorised processing or access, including encryption in transit, access control over the admin panel, and providers that maintain recognised security standards.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal changes or changes in the processing described. The version published on this page is always the one in force; we recommend reviewing it periodically.
