Edward Snowden Says CBDC a ‘Cryptofascist Currency’ Designed to Put Governments at Centre of Every Transaction

Former NSA consultant and whistleblower Edward Snowden has called Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) a “cryptofascist currency” primarily designed to deny people the basic ownership of their money. In a tweet, Snowden said the CBDC will put the State at the centre of every transaction, in disagreement with the founding principles and protocols of the virtual currency. Cryptocurrency was developed as a decentralised currency, free from the control of any single authority. It was…

Why Edward Snowden Called GovCoins ‘Cryptofascist’ Currencies

Edward Snowden, the former government contractor who blew the whistle on NSA domestic surveillance activities, has spoken out against the creation of a U.S. Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) or govcoin. The Federal Reserve is due to release a discussion paper in the coming weeks or months on whether the U.S. should create its own govcoin. Fed Chair Jerome Powell told a press conference at the end of September the big concern is whether any potential benefits outweigh the risks or…

Australia’s Role in Chile Confirmed in Declassified Documents

Proof of Australia’s involvement in Chile depicts the willing complicity in overthrowing a democratically-elected government to be replaced by a brutal dictatorship which tortured, killed and disappeared thousands of Chileans.

On the same day Chileans remembered the 48th anniversary of the U.S.-backed military coup which ousted President Salvador Allende, the National Security Archives (NSA) published heavily redacted documents which prove Australia’s involvement in the coup, at the formal request of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

A request by former Australian Army military intelligence officer Dr Clinton Fernandez to the National Archives of Australia to release documents pertaining to the Australian Secret Intelligence Service (ASIS) role in Chile between 1971 and 1974 was at first rejected.

Things might be getting a bit dicey out in Jezero crater for Ingenuity. The little helicopter that could is starting to have trouble dealing with the thinning Martian atmosphere, and may start pressing against its margin of safety for continued operation. Ingenuity was designed for five flights that would all take place around the time its mothership Perseverance touched down on Mars back in February, at which time the mean atmospheric pressure was at a seasonal high. Over the last few months, the density of the Martian atmosphere has decreased a wee bit, but when you’re starting with a plan for a pressure that’s only 1.4% of Earth’s soupy atmosphere, every little bit counts. The solution to keeping Ingenuity flying is simple: run the rotors faster.

The Propaganda War (Part II)

CJ Hopkins

The column you are about to read is propaganda. Yes, that’s right … propaganda. It isn’t political satire or commentary, or objective news or information, or unbiased, verified scientific fact. It is propaganda, pure and simple.

That isn’t a confession, a disclaimer, or a warning. I am not ashamed of writing propaganda. Most everything you see and read on the Internet, and in newspapers, and on television, and in textbooks, and novels, and on advertising billboards, and everywhere else, is propaganda. There is nothing wrong with propaganda. The question is who is doing it, and what they are doing it for. Here’s the definition in the Cambridge Dictionary:

“information, ideas, opinions, or images, often only giving one part of an argument, that are broadcast, published, or in some other way spread with the intention of influencing people’s opinions”

That is what the column you are reading is … an attempt to influence people’s opinions.

There can be only one

2 alternative and mutually exclusive scenarios for the future financial system:
– CBDC (fiat, central banks) -> current elites
– QFS (backed, decentralized) -> NSA, Trump

Who will win?

How To Make A Mint: The Cryptography of Anonymous Electronic Cash

NSA paper on electronic cash, 1996: “How To Make A Mint: The Cryptography of Anonymous Electronic Cash”. Electronic payment systems come in many forms including digital checks, debit cards, credit cards, and stored value cards. The usual security features for such systems are privacy (protection from eavesdropping), authenticity (provides user identification and message integrity), and nonrepudiation (prevention of later denying having performed a transaction).

The type of electronic payment system focused on in this paper is electronic cash. As the name implies, electronic cash is an attempt to construct an electronic payment system modelled after our paper cash system. Paper cash has such features as being: portable (easily carried), recognizable (as legal tender) hence readily acceptable, transferable (without involvement of the financial network), untraceable (no record of where money is spent), anonymous (no record of who spent the money) and has the ability to make “change.”… Read more...
