## Hypothesis Testing For Known and Unkown Population with T-test and ANOVA

For testing the above-mentioned data situations, the usual flow of steps would be that of a hypotheses test. For simplicity I have specified them below:

Mention the hypotheses statements, H0 & H1, and the level of significance (α), for example, 5 %.Calculate the test statistic as per the specific case.Calculate p-value.If p-value < α, then we have sufficient evidence to reject the test. If p-value > α, then we do not have sufficient evidence to reject the test.Interpretation is made as per the specific case.

Note: the above-mentioned steps are for one-sided tests. In the case of two-sided tests, the p-value gets replaced by the 2*p-value to make comparisons with α.… Read more...
