Whatever you do, do not look at this chart, citizen

Published on December 8, 2021Written by Tom Woods

Today’s chart comes from compliant Vermont. In that state, 99 percent of seniors are fully vaccinated, and 62 percent have had a booster shot.

Yet the state is experiencing record hospitalizations (the orange line shows vaccination rate and the blue line tracks the percentage with boosters):

Now I realize that the true believers probably have a list of excuses for this chart.
But let’s be serious, for heaven’s sake. Can they seriously say they expected to see, once mass vaccination occurred, a chart that looks like this?

Satire? Wa-Po Columnist Mocked for COVID Vaccine Ultra Propaganda

Published on December 4, 2021Written by bizpacreview.com

A Washington Post writer’s response to receiving the coronavirus vaccine was so over the top that it was hard not to mistake it for satire.

Karen Tumulty, who works as both the deputy editorial board editor and as a columnist at the Post, announced her booster shot in a tweet posted Friday.
“When I went for my booster today, the pharmacy had a bowl full of lollipops. A lovely reminder of my childhood, when that was what you would get if you didn’t cry. Except I wanted to cry because I was so grateful for science,” she…

Over 65s need booster vaccine passport to participate in society

French President Emanuel Macron announced new rules for the nationwide vaccine passport mandate. The vaccine passports of those above the age of 65 will be invalid if they have not gotten a booster shot.
The over 65s will have to keep up with their boosters or be locked out of society.
Macron announced new rules in a televised national address. Beginning December 15, the vaccine passports of people aged 65 and above will not be valid without a booster shot. At the time, that was the only age group eligible for booster shots, although the president said that beginning early December,…

Pfizer Set to Request Authorization for Coronavirus Booster for 16- and 17-Year-Olds
The Washington Post reported:
As President Biden exhorts Americans to get coronavirus vaccines and booster shots to strengthen protections against the Delta and Omicron variants, another age group might soon become eligible for the boosters: 16- and 17-year-olds.
Pfizer and its partner BioNTech are expected to ask the Food and Drug Administration in the coming days to authorize its booster shot for that age group,…

Israeli study says COVID shot efficacy decreases dramatically after 3 months, calls for boosters

Fri Nov 26, 2021 – 11:02 am ESTFri Nov 26, 2021 – 12:51 pm EST

(LifeSiteNews) — Israeli researchers have concluded that the immunity provided by two doses of the Pfizer vaccine decreases rapidly only weeks following vaccination, and offered COVID booster shots as a solution.
A newly released study, which was conducted by Leumit Health Services in Israel and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), and published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) earlier this month, presented evidence that the risk of contracting COVID-19 doubles only 90 days after receiving a second dose…

Ex-AFL star Paul Dimattina ‘gravely ill’ after suspected near-lethal reaction to booster shot

Former Western Bulldogs midfielder and Melbourne anti-lockdown critic recovering in intensive care

Paul Dimattina is reportedly recovering in intensive care after suffering a suspected serious reaction to the Pfizer booster shot.
The former Western Bulldogs midfielder had been battling the autoimmune condition ‘myasthenia gravis’ and receiving chemotherapy when he was administered the Covid vaccine booster shot.
He reportedly had a bad reaction to the shot, and then fell gravely ill on November 25 when he also contracted…

This Week in the New Normal #6

Our successor to This Week in the Guardian, This Week in the New Normal is our weekly chart of the progress of autocracy, authoritarianism and economic restructuring around the world.
There was no TWitNN last week, because of the 9/11 anniversary, so this edition is technically, “The last two weeks in the new normal”.

1. Is the UK heading for a winter black-out?

This week it was reported that a fire at a power relay station has damaged a cable running electricity from France to the UK. The cable apparently can’t be fixed until March (although I have yet to see any explanation as to why), which means electricity prices are set to jump up this winter.

Real fire or no, you can be sure the power companies don’t mind the bump in revenue.

Alex Jones calls Donald Trump a ‘dumba**’ after he recommends taking Covid vaccines

InfoWars founder Alex Jones blasted former President Donald Trump for recommending supporters get the Covid-19 vaccine at an Alabama rally. Trump promoted vaccinations to a crowd in the city of Cullman and was met with boos.

“Now, that’s OK. That’s all right. You got your freedoms,” Trump said in response. “But I happen to take the vaccine. If it doesn’t work, you’ll be the first to know. OK? I’ll call up Alabama and say, ‘Hey, you know what?’ But it is working.”

Jones was among those displeased with the former president’s latest vaccine endorsement. In a recent taping of his InfoWars show, Jones suggested Trump – once a regular guest – could be a “dumba**.”

“Shame on you, Trump. Seriously. Hey, if you don’t have the good sense to save yourself and your political career, that’s OK,” Jones said.
