Criptomonedas, un problema de falta de adopción

El de las criptomonedas es un problema en el que confluyen economía, política, tecnología y emociones encontradas. Y los análisis se basan en “partidarios” y “detractores”, cuando lo que debería haber es un análisis puramente técnico del asunto, no un debate ideológico.

Las criptomonedas (en concreto Bitcoin) estaban llamadas a generar una nueva economía con más libertad y oportunidades para todos. Pero el hecho cierto es que -de momento- han “amplificado” muchos vicios del sistema fiat: especulación, dinero sin respaldo real, burbujas, etc.

Strong AI or General AI: machine display all person-like behavior. This would be a system that can do anything a human can (perhaps without purely physical things). This is fairly generic, and includes all kinds of tasks, such as planning, moving around in the world, recognizing objects and sounds, speaking, translating, performing social or business transactions, creative work (making art or poetry), etc. Its basically Sci-Fi.

La Inteligencia Artificial no es una Amenaza

Algunos proclaman que estamos a punto de crear inteligencia artificial que permitirá que las máquinas se hagan cargo de todo. Otros están aterrorizados con la posibilidad de que los humanos queden obsoletos.

Pero el término ‘inteligencia artificial’ (IA) debería ser abandonado. Cuando se cree realmente IA no tendrá nada de artificial. Y no hay razón especial alguna para que seamos capaces de reconocerla o entenderla.

Tendemos a asumir que otras inteligencias tendrán un lenguaje secuencial, lineal, como el nuestro. Pero la realidad puede ser muy diferente, y resultar irreconocible.

El consciente y el subconsciente son dos modos de funcionamiento de la mente. El consciente piensa y critica analíticamente, y filtra hacia el segundo recuerdos, asociándolos a emociones (mediante péptidos), y grabándolos de forma que tengan significado para nosotros.

El consciente, el ego, o el “yo”, es el equivalente a una pequeña memoria de trabajo tipo RAM en un ordenador: suficiente para realizar las operaciones más elementales pero poco más. El subconsciente es la ROM, con una enorme capacidad (¿ilimitada?) para realizar todo lo demás, incluidas las funciones corporales.

In 1979 during Soviet Invasion the Opium production was 250 tons in Afghanistan. By 1999 while U.S hold the control in Afghanistan, the opium production increased to 4,600 tons annual.

In 2000, the Talibans imposed a ban on Opium nationwide, thereby cutting the to production to 185 tons.

In 2001 after US invasion, the Opium production erupted.

By 2017 the production of Opium increased to 9,000 tons annual.

Traditional ML and DL VS the amount of training data

Why has deep learning been so successful? What is the fundamental reason that deep learning can learn from big data? Why cannot traditional ML learn from the large data sets that are now available for different tasks as efficiently as deep learning can? These questions can be answered by understanding the learnability of deep learning — otherwise known as Vapnik-Chervonenkis dimension, illustrated beautifully by the curve in figure 1 [1]. The curve captures the performance of traditional ML and DL VS the amount of data used to train the models.

It can be observed that when data sets are small, the traditional ML has better performance compared to DL, but as the data sets move into the big data zone, the DL’s performance keeps increasing, almost exponentially.… Read more...

La mentalidad de escasez se crea por personas especializadas en parasitar al resto de la sociedad: para las que no hay escasez alguna, pero que necesitan del resto del mundo para mantener sus privilegios.
