Good products are build by people who want to use themselves. It’s all about the product. Always has been and always will be.
The only thing that matters is how good your product is, and all the rest is noise.
Its much better to start building something that does 1 single thing very well, so you don´t get caught in the paralysis by analysis.
Just build a great single product, and you may also look at critical flaws in competitors to build something better.
If people love your product, the tiniest announcement will get attention.
The only judge of how good your product is how much your users use it, and value from it.
Be technical and understand how technology is built.
You don’t need to write code. But you need to understand how it is built, what the engineering process is all about, and how the technology works.
